West Hartford resident Emily Safino is the Client Manager for Healing Meals Community Project. Her aunt volunteers for Ceres, a national network of organizations building healthier communities by empowering young people, promoting community service, caring for our neighbors in need, and restoring healthy and organic fresh foods to their place as the foundation of health for people and planet. When Sarah Leathers told Emily she was starting Healing Meals, a Ceres chapter in Connecticut, Emily instantly knew it was something she had to be part of.

Emily is Co Chair of the Parent Advisory Committee at the School for Young Children. She and her husband, Patrick, have three young children.
