Corporate Relationships & Events Manager
The moment Cristy walked into the Healing Meals kitchen as a volunteer, she instantly knew it was a special place. She was so impressed with the Healing Meals food philosophy and the attention to detail each client experienced. So, when Healing Meals posted an Events Manager position, Cristy wanted to be part of the team!
Cristy got her professional background in New York City where she worked for various networks such as Telemundo, Bravo, and FX Networks. She spent 14 years in various advertising/marketing roles, collaborating with various internal departments and clients to create successful campaigns and events. She has a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.
Cristy is creative, dedicated to serving others, and loves to bring people together! She is honored to be part of the Healing Meals team as we aspire to grow and expand. Cristy lives in Simsbury with her two boys and feels lucky to have found purpose in her local community.
Healing Meals nourishes with love. We believe that food is medicine, so we prepare and deliver nutritious meals that support healing for people recovering from acute health issues. Uniquely, all our meals are prepared by youth volunteers working alongside our Adult Mentors and Executive Chef. These delicious and nutritious meals are delivered by our volunteer Delivery Angels.
