Thanks for your interest in Healing Meals Community Project
Healing Meals provides meals to individuals and families in the community.
Our meals are designed knowing diet supports our health; we focus on foods that are whole (rather than processed), organic, and locally grown, including organic, pasture-raised proteins and wild-caught, sustainably harvested seafood.
Our program creates personal connections and provides nutritive foods that support:
- Constitution and Vitality
- Immune System Function
- Body’s Ability to Adapt to Stress
- Overall Well-Being
Our research shows that, on average, our clients need meals for three months in order to feel the health benefits and to establish health-promoting habits. We aim to balance the needs of our community-at-large while also continuing to help current clients who need additional meals, so when space allows, we offer clients an Extended Meal Plan. The Extended Meal Plan allows clients to receive meals for up to 24 weeks.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers and sponsors we serve as many clients dealing with an acute health crisis and their families as our capacity will allow.
Disclaimer: We do not diagnose, prescribe drugs, or recommend medical treatment. We offer a number of nutrient-rich food products which have traditionally been used to support healing. We make no claims, nor do we imply that any of these foods or herbs can cure, treat, prevent, or mitigate any health concern or disease condition. We assume that all clients who request Healing Meals services are doing so with the full knowledge and cooperation of their primary care physician.
