Lauren Miller

Grants Manager

Lauren Miller is a nonprofit professional who has been a grant maker, grant seeker, program evaluator and advocate for nonprofits at state, local and national levels. As the Grants Manager, she tells the stories of wellness and compassion that help funders understand how Healing Meals nourishes the body and spirit while growing healthy communities. Using data and feedback from Healing Meals programs, she chronicles the journeys and documents the outcomes that support further investment in our programs.

Lauren studied Spanish and German during her college years and later earned a Master of Public Administration from UConn’s School of Public Policy. She was privileged to get to know the dedicated people who run many of Connecticut’s arts organizations, museums and libraries through her work at the Greater Hartford Arts Council, Connecticut Humanities Council and as a Trustee of the Simsbury Public Library.  An avid gardener and outdoor adventurer, Lauren is exploring a whole new landscape now that she and her husband Rich spend time at their home in Florida.  She is thrilled to stay connected to her Healing Meals team and her Connecticut roots.
