NOURISHING OUR COMMUNITY & EMPOWERING TOMORROW'S LEADERS
Working alongside adult mentors to prepare, cook and package nutrient dense meals youth learn soft skills (such as good communication), technical skills (cooking) as well as a strong understanding that food can be medicine.
Adult volunteers can harvest produce from the organic garden, prep food, cook, package and deliver healing meals to those in a health crisis; the experience is transformational for everyone involved.
Our Organic Meals Program supports individuals dealing with a health crisis, and their families, for fourteen weeks with healthy food, made with love to lessen side effects and increase positive treatment outcomes.

You can’t always tell that someone is sick, and you really have to be caring for everyone, no matter what. You need to be treating everyone with kindness and decency because you don’t know what they are going through.– S. Treaux, Teen Volunteer
